Nearly exactly the same as the Greek tape then which runs 1:38:10,does the Italian version have the opening and closing credits text explaining about the medical schools and the professors/barons?

Yes, a text is shown, but only in the closing credits - and in french!!  :-*

I'll have to get a copy of that Italian print sometime,had a feeling the opening text explaining the background to the story was only in the English version.

wow nice one , i did do a fandub of the italian tv rip that was knocking around - awesome to know there's a proper dvd release now
