aka MAN WITHOUT A MEMORY

I was thinking about ordering this film even though I have never heard of it before.
Therefore I would like to ask if anyone knows this film, and whether they recommend it or not.

I enjoyed this alot, great performance from Umberto Orsini and a nice soundtrack.I still haven't seen the Scandanavian AWE disc which is supposed to be the version to have but my Neo disc will do for now.

Thanks a lot mate. Roll Eyes

The Scandinavian AWE disc is exactly the one I’m going to buy.

I thought this was a good, solid giallo but lacking when compared to Tessari's superior giallo, THE BLOODSTAINED BUTTERFLY.

How does the AWE release look?I noticed the DVD Times review was a bit critical about it,might be tempted to buy it sometime soon.

I have the AWE release and it's decent. Why these folk enjoying shooting down the releases of obscure films like this, is beyond me. Very pedantic, but then again it's him, isn't it?  Undecided

I wouldn't bother with the shit that guy writes about DVD releases. I certainly don't trust his judgement- I mean come on, he writes that Noshame's releases don't look impressive! PUZZLE looks great, trust me. The film itself is very good as well.

I look’s exactly like the one you just linked to, in fact that is the one.
The cover shown is even the Danish one.  Lips sealed

If you notice my blog, there are some words on the right side of the page that refer to people like that guy who wrote that piece of shit review. People who enjoy trashing the efforts of others in order to look important.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Just want to make it clear that this is a fan-made blog which wants to praise films that most people don't. Film critics are (partially or fully) responsible for some of the worst things that have happened to worldwide cinema in the last few decades! Not to mention many of them are failed filmmakers trying to "be somebody" by trashing other people's efforts! Putting all your negativity on paper is easy, going out in the streets to make a movie and create something positive is hard. So just want to make it clear that I am not some kind a 'Film critic".

That's a fair assessment, mate!

He's just picky for the sake of it. Can he really expect any better than a NoShame presentation? Thos guys practically bankrupted themselves releasing superior prints of these obscure films.

Well, the DVD of PUZZLE is certainly the best release of the movie so far (considering the fact I had watched it via a 3rd generation copy before that) and it looks as good as it could possibly get. It may not look as good as TITANIC on HD but the ones who are interested in the movie should buy it. Spoiled kids who never experienced the VHS... they keep complaining about all the little flaws of DVD releases, that's totally fucking pathetic.
