Regarding the release date of SO SWEET, SO DEAD: We stumbled upon a huge problem: We found out that the negative we had transferred was cut! There were several scenes missing, most of which we managed to lecate and transfer by now. However, there are two scenes still missing some shots.

One is the sex scene between Santangeli and his neighbor, where some butt-shots and one crotch-shot (non-hardcore) is missing. These are definitely censorship-cuts which seem to have be made to the negative a long time ago. That's what the producers are saying, and there's another proof of this: If you look close at the VHS versions you will notice that the color correction for the more explicit shots is different from the rest which means that they were taken from another source and were re-inserted later. So they really might have been cut from the negative before the film was shown in Italian cinemas. The trouble is, these pieces of the negatives are lost. Plus, we have been seraching for prints of the movie for quite some time now, without any results. In other words, we are forced to insert these few shots from a vhs (TERROR EXPRESS style). So, if you know the best-looking version there is out there, please let us know. Right now, the UK version is the winner, but maybe there are better ones available.

Scene two is the beginning of the conversation between Santangeli and commissario Capuana after the kill of Santangeli's wife. The first couple secons are missing. Why? No idea. Maybe somebody didn't like Sanatangeli back then...

So, if you know anything, please let us know. It's troubling...
