Updated comparison with BluRay screencaps at DVDBeaver.

Looks amazing!  :P

Especially the shot of Irene's miracles...

Why not watch it instead of the match. Fuck football.

The Arrow Blu-ray I ordered is for a friend, I was going to order one for myself too but I'm just going to hold on now until all the up-coming releases are out there.

I know Michael comes in for a lot of flack for being overly anal but reading his assessment of this disc and knowing there's at least two more in the pipeline makes me want to hold on to my pennies for a little bit longer.

Also check out the comments, esp. number 3 who isn't afraid of letting it all out. Is he a member on here?

Never happy that cunt is he.

He is quite often, I think people only tend to highlight the reviews where he picks up flaws. His site has hundreds of reviews many of which are positive.

I watched my copy the other night and thought the Blu-Ray looked good but not particularly jaw dropping; there seemed to be a lack of detail.  However, Arrow can not be blamed for putting together such an excellent package.

some people wouldn't be happy unless the film makers went back in time and shot it in HD!

Shooting on film is better than HD.

It's not me, if you're wondering. I'd have put my name to it; although I do wholeheartedly agree the anonymous poster.

Aarron, you've been a member at Cult Labs for a couple of months. Have they made you a moderator yet?  :-*

Like Jonny, I'm waiting to see how the other discs compare. Inferno is probably my favourite Argento film and the documentary on the Camera Obscura disc is really whetting my appetite.

There's loads of them isn't there  :-\

I expect to be "moderated" soon as some character has piped up in defence to me calling McKenzie a twat with this nonsense:

If you want to sink to name calling and personal attacks then I'm sure there are other forums who would welcome you.

He'll be on the recieving end of name calling and personal attacks if he doesn't pipe down!

Who has watched any of the extras on the Arrow Inferno disc?

If so what is your honest opinion of the animated intros?

Incredible set Aarron, I felt like i was a kid a Christmas.
The extras were nice and refreshing, and I thought the animations were nice enough just a tad too long.
