Blackaria is a French independent film. A Giallo, like in the good old days. Apparently it's good.

A review, in French :

http://www.devildead.com/indexfilm.php3?FilmID=2000&NamePage=blackaria-cine

To summarize this review: It's a gore and sexy Giallo. References to Lucio Fulci, Emilio Miraglia, Dario Argento and Sergio Martino are all over the place. It looks amazing (actresses, sets, lights, camera movements, zooms, etc...) and is major achievement considering the micro budget. There are lot off flash backs, visions and dream sequences, many of them truly hypnotic.

According to the reviewer, this is not a stale homage. Robin and Gaillard don't just recycle their favorite gialli, but re-invent the genre and push it forward.

Hope we'll catch it soon on DVD  Roll Eyes
